Strategy does indeed play a significant
role in a complex, high-level game of Checkers,
as do the key elements of time, space,
and force. The best place is to start with
a basic understanding of the game rules,
and then build upon one’s
knowledge by continuing to play multiple
games, gaining experience and control.
Be ready to accept failure and defeat when
your opponent outmaneuvers your play, but
do not be undaunted by this. Learn from
defeat and use it as the motivation to
seek the next win. You can have your cake
and eat it, too.
