The object of Stadium Checkers game 1952 - 1973 was to get the colored marbles to the center of the stadium. In turn, each player would signify that he/she was going to move a particular marble into a certain slot and in doing so, the move might make other marbles fall into lower slots. The idea was for each player to get all of his/her marbles into the center before other opponent achieved the same goal.

This older checkers game really only has some similarity to the original Checkers in that two players move game pieces from slot to slot instead of square to square and they are trying to outmaneuver each other and get to the game board center, but it certainly is a loose interpretation on Checkers games.
